TIFI Football

It's official, Raymond will be playing football for the Texas InterCity Football, Inc. (TIFI) Clear Lake Falcons this fall. We registered on the 17th, but there was a waiting list! Only 25 boys can be on the team. Apparently they were holding a couple of spots for kids from last season, but several of those boys aren't playing, so it opened up for the few on the list. Practice starts August 11th. Home games will be played at Clear Lake Intermediate School, which is just a few miles up the street. There are 9 games total, once each Saturday between end of August and end of October.

Since he hasn't played before, we have signed Raymond up for a football mini camp at Clear Lake High School, which is less than a mile from the house. Ray's high school football coach is the director of the camp. When I spoke to him today, I asked him if he remembered Ray and he said yes. So Raymond will be going to that camp June 9th to June 11th. Luckily it is close to home, as Raymond will be riding his bike back and forth.
